Do you have plastic, wooden or metallic beads that you can’t use anymore because of their obsolete color? Are there any old jewelry, necklaces and bracelets that you adore, but it’s just a shame that “Salmon Color” is no longer in fashion? Here is the solution: Change their color by using the nail polish you might already have around the house.
Έχετε πλαστικές, ξύλινες, μεταλλικές χάντρες που δεν χρησιμοποιήτε γιατι δεν σας ταιριάζει το χρώμα τους; Έχετε χάντρες απο παλιά κολιέ και βραχιόλια που σας αρέσουν αλλά τι κρίμα που το “σομόν” δεν είναι πια στη μόδα; Υπάρχει λύση: Αλλάξτε τους χρώμα χρησιμοποιώντας το βερνίκι νυχιών που έχετε σπίτι σας. You can experiment with glossy or matte finish nail polish, depending on the outcome you would like to get. The brush that comes in the bottle may be a little large for painting smaller beads, but you can dip a smaller paintbrush into the bottle and can clean it up with acetone once you’re done.
You will need:
Beads
Nail polish, color of your choice
Wooden sticks for bigger beads
Toothpicks for smaller beads
Vase or glass to put in the sticks and let beads dry.
Step1
Place the bead on the wooden stick
Step2
Paint the whole bead with the nail polish. Brush strokes have to be in the same direction (i.e. from left to right)
Step 3
Let the nail polish dry for half an hour. Place the wooden stick in a vase so that it doesn’t have contact with other objects.
Step 4
Apply a second layer of nail polish and then let dry for a day. If you prefer to have a more dense color you can apply a third coat of nail polish.
Step 5
Remove the bead from the wooden stick and it’s ready for use!

Πειραματιστείτε με γυαλιστερά ή μάτ βερνίκια νυχιών ανάλογα με το αποτέλεσμα που θέλετε να πετύχετε. Το βουρτσάκι που έχει μέσα το βερνίκι είναι κατάλληλο για μεγάλες χάντρες, για τις πιο μικρές μπορείτε να βουτήξετε μέσα στο βαζάκι ενα μικρό πινελάκι, και στη συνέχεια να το καθαρίσετε με λίγο ασετόν.
Θα χρειαστείτε:
Χάντρες
Βερνίκι Νυχιών σε ότι χρώμα θέλετε
Ξύλινα καλαμάκια για σουβλάκι (για τις μεγάλες χάντρες)
Οδοντογλυφίδες (για τις μικρές χάντρες)
Βάζο ή ποτήρι ή οποιοδήποτε δοχείο για να σταθεροποιήσετε τα ξυλάκια/οδοντογλυφίδες
Βήμα1
Παίρνετε το καλαμάκι και περνάτε τη χάντρα
Βήμα2
Βάφετε τη χάντρα με το βερνίκι νυχιών απο όλες τις πλευρές και με κινήσεις προς την ίδια κατεύθυνση (π.χ απο αριστερά προς τα δεξιά)
Βήμα 3
Αφήνετε για μισή ωρα να στεγνώσει το πρώτο χέρι, βάζοντας το καλαμάκι μέσα σε ένα βάζο ωστε να μην ακουμπάει απο καμια πλευρά του.
Βήμα 4
Εφαρμόζετε δεύτερο χέρι βερνίκι νυχιών στη χάντρα και αφήνετε να στεγνώσει καλά για μια μέρα. Αν θέλετε να γίνει πιο σκούρο το χρώμα μπορείτε να επαναλάβετε και τρίτο χέρι βερνίκι νυχιών.
Βήμα 5
Αφαιρείτε τη χάντρα απο το καλαμάκι και είναι έτοιμη να χρησιμοποιηθεί!
